ECG publishes technical briefing on CADA audit provisions

The European Contact Group (ECG) has published a new technical briefing on the independent audit provisions in the proposed Cloud and AI Development Act (CADA).

The paper focuses on several practical issues arising from the proposed assurance framework, drawing on the experience of ECG firms in performing technical assurance engagements, including under the Digital Services Act (DSA). It identifies five areas where targeted clarification would support consistent and workable implementation.
